A Kiwi Thanksgiving

And you are thinking... what exactly is a 'Kiwi Thanksgiving?'

Well, it's summer here - which means hot. And so instead of the tradition Thanksgiving meal we had a church BBQ! About 27 of us there. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time of fellowship and thanking the Lord for all he has done for us! :)

Dad cooking the hamburgers and sausages and fellowshipping with Pastor G.

The kids love Brother Spackmens water wheel.

Especially David

The important part of the day, right? :P
No! Giving thanks to God is... by far! :)

But the food was great! :)

Mom, Mrs. Quilty, and Mrs. G fellowshipping.

I absolutely love this photo.
Malachi just loves Brother Quilty and Brother Quily is always happy to listen to him talk.

More people arriving...

Two cute little girls!

Enjoying dinner and fellowship together.

Some of the men fellowshipping.

Another cute little girly! :)

Mom serving the pies and Ezra serving icecream!

And then we spent a while praising our Saviour in song, reading His Word, and sharing what we are thankful for. It was a great time together around the Lord, who has blessed us so richly with so much more to be thankful for then we could ever thank him for.

Looks like a lot of fun. The ice cream sounds the best. We are ALWAYS thankful for ice cream. :-) Sure am glad God invented it.
